I have no idea why, but this makes me think of Berserk, the manga by Kentaro Miura, the characters (the badguys) really have the same style although its in a different time and nog in color.
I really like the haziness, and the fact that the eyes are so right there against the darkness of the rest of the face.
Also, a huge fan of giant, too big, and solid square weapons, it all looks really gloomy (in a good way) and seriously amazing.

I want it in a game so I can kill it! Cool stuff bro!

pretty cool but what would make him look more creepy/mysterious would be if his whole face was black and all you could see was his red piercing eyes.
