Good Box Art Mega Man.
Now this is how you "misinterpret" the blue bomber as a middle aged robot from a tron-like setting.
They wouldn't have complained about Mega Man 1's sales had this been cover back in '87.

P.S. Hell, badass middle aged renditions of classic characters. Maybe you should consider that a theme. Make more old-folk pro editions of traditionally youthful characters. Link was the first to come to my mind. May it feed your inspiration.
