Last year was very difficult for me, I felt unwanted and no longer had anything to live for. And then this bird came into my life, Francis. He gave me the strength to get out of bed in the mornings, and the strength to reclaim my life.
I chose dark and cool colors to represent sorrow, as he died only two weeks after I got him (though those two weeks were enough for me to get up on my own feet, and I'm in a much better state now).
