Every year, Crystal Bridges museum has this chalk festival where they give everyone a nice set of chalk and we all go wild. So, I start drawing one of my basic figures, when this 4-6 year old with a backwards baseball cap (I kid you not, that still exists, and that's awesome) walked up to it, and he asked me if the cartoon dude had a name. I've drawn that figure forever, but I never named him, so I asked him to name the thing for me. He also made a few artistic suggestions such as the red shirt and the cute little name tag.
