So I've been getting more involved with building battleships lately, but this one wasn't exactly on my to do list. I had started building the Bismarck when someone said they knew a naval vet who'd love a model of the New Jersey. Before I knew it, this kit was at my doorstep, and I haven't even met this guy. Luckily for me, I didn't pay for the model, my dad did, and I tried not to blow a bunch of money on photo-etch and paint. She came out great, she's got her 1984 modernization making her the greatest battleship in the world, but I kind of wish I did blow the extra cash. I think it's been about 8 months now, guess it's time to hunt down the middle man...
