Another model I built for my grandfather, I got my love for models from him, so I've built quite a few things for him over the years. I rarely build tanks, I rarely finish them, it's usually the tracks that I give up on. And to be honest, they didn't stretch far enough to connect them, so they're only tucked in. You wouldn't be able to notice though, the conjoining part are well hidden under the armor plating.

I started out using intermediate blue as my primer then copied this pattern I saw in World of Tanks which was supposedly used for Operation Barbarossa. I then brushed on white for the change of seasons Germans were faced with in Russia, only thick enough to see the original pattern underneath, followed by lightly sanding it off on those high traffic/weathering areas. Then finished weathering it with a bottle of rust...
