Stevie B. Quickness certainly looks good in this. I think my favorite part about this picture is how gritty the background is made out to be. It truly gives you the sense that you're in some tough 1950's scenario where wife beating was apparently tolerated. I love how this guy has such a thick neck. With all the strong emphasis placed on his eyes and nose, it almost looks like a John K. picture. The paper background makes it look like something out of Leonardo Da Vinci's scrapbook.
The use of red is very strong in this picture. You still portray the character as Caucasian, but use the colors so well. It's just a very realistic looking picture. I think the smoke was intended to be coming from his cigarette but looks more like it's coming from around his head. The sketch marks are all great.
