This is really lovely composition but the documentation is so bad it ruins the piece for me. The image is so heavily pixelated I can't tell what's conte texture and what's pixelization, and the image is too small to zoom in and get a good look at your probably lovely linework. It looks like it's been saved repeatedly as a super lossy .jpg and lost a lot of its data.

Any chance you'd try again? I'd love to see a better image of this, and we've got a tutorial over here http://art101.newgrounds.com/news/post/314936 on documenting traditional art. Most cell phones have decent cameras nowadays and saving as a .png or even a high-quality .jpeg would prevent the loss from happening again.

It has been scanned. But yes, indeed, i reduced too much the resolution of this work.
Thanks for your commentary and help.

I was interested to see how many people would go traditional and how they would cope with the one colour thing you pulled it off really well.

exobnkr responds:

thanks for your commentary. In fact, I am better in traditional techniques than digital :-)

This looks great!!! She looks like she's out of a 50's 60's horror flic!! I love it!! Best of luck in the contest!! You sure blew mine out of the water! Keep up the good work!!

Thank you for your support. With Mamie Van Doren, it was the fear and "le chic" together.
