First draft character--creature?--des ign for my upcoming graphic novel. "Purge" embodies the unrealistic expectations, self-hatred, and self-abuse that exist as a result of societal fixation on superficial beauty as the primary measure of a woman's worth.
Original & fun!
It strikes a balance between so many things that would be otherwise trite.
I forget when I'm looking at it how few colors this picture needed; it just comes to life~
(I mean it's not like I'm doing anything creepy, ya know, like giving her a name & backstory and having conversations with Veronica while I do both voices... Oh my. I've said too much.)
