First try using charcoal sticks :) What better way to practise than drawing Pitch Black himself! (The Rise of the Guardians)

I personally find he turned out even creepier then the original... :D

Materials used
+ Daler Rowney Drawing Paper (A4 - 160g/m^2 - 98 lb.)
+ Coates Willow Charcoal 30 short sticks (3-12 diameter)
+ Black HB Pencil (Conté à Paris - Pierre Noire - 1710) for edges and darkest areas
+ Paper blending tool (mostly used my fingers to blend though)
+ Drewent Studio 36 Fine Colour Pencils for the eye
+ kneadable eraser (Faber-Castell)
+ Artists' Soft Fixative Spray
