Ever since I was nine years old I have had this love for electronic music. It wasn't until my father bought me Owl City's album "Ocean Eyes" that I really found myself enjoying music. That was only the beginning however. Later in that same year a close friend of mine introduced me to Techno. This is when things really took off for me. I began listening to small artists such as Basshunter, Dj Splash, B0UNC3, Contacreast, and some more well known like Tiësto and Manian. A few years after my introduction to music, I downloaded the demo version of Fl Studio. Having absolutely no clue what a synthesizer was, I used samples of sounds that my DAW (Digital Audio Workspace) pitched for me. Using this method, I wrote my very first, 100% original song; "first song.wav"... Needless to say, my earliest work sounded atrocious. It took awhile, but I eventually discovered my first digital synthesizer; the 3xOsc. Using simple melodies and no effects, I constructed my first ever decent remix of Avicii and Nicky Romero's "I Could be the One". I later discovered the GMS (Groove Machine Synthesizer). With this, I made three songs; A Hau5 Party, Journey to the Sun, and Venture. After I uploaded these songs to YouTube, I received the Nexus2 as a gift from my father. The first song I used the Nexus2 in was a song called "Love of my Life". Recently, things have really taken off after I wrote "Big Thank You" for a project in school. Speaking of thank-you's, I would like to thank all of you for all of the support that you have given me. Without people to listen, my music would have gone nowhere. I would also like to thank my father for all of the investments that he has made in order to make my nine-year-old dream a reality.
