I've been trying to refine my digital painting technique so I can conceptualize better... I'm getting a little tired of lazy shitty cel shading and I want to put my all into my art.
Yadda yadda I could go on about what I was trying to do but this is just a picture of one of my characters, Katie Lee.

The figure gesture is dynamic, the color palette is vibrant and energetic. Overall, great work.
If I could give any constructive critique at all, I would suggest playing with that very brightly saturated yellow, which is almost blindingly bright. maybe toning it down a little bit or neutralizing it could help the figure really pop out of the piece and really drive the point home that she's about the Chuck-Norris some poor sap (more than the awesome gesture is already doing).
Again, these are only suggestions for exploration. This really is a fantastic piece. Keep up the good work.

Evrything cool on this ilustration man,just one thing, dont you think right arm could have a better perspective? Chek that it makes the line from right hand to left elbow totally plain in deep. That open hand Should be smaller than the foot, bigger than the left hand, and that same arm's volume doesnt help too, in my opinion. Without that it would look 100%PRO

even the bulgy forearms give her that superpower-like figure. she's great, the shading is great, and the colors? superb. also, foot fetish.
Just when I thought you had reached your maximum greatness at drawing and animating, you whip this girl out on me. This has proven that even you can continue to get better and better, even when your older work would perfectly suffice.
I love what you've done with the coloring here. It's bright, beautiful, and just very well done. The shading is done fantastically, as it near perfectly matches the grooves of her body and the folds n' wrinkles of her clothing.
Pros: Everything is done professi
Cons: The shading seems EVER SO SLIGHTLY off around the torso area, particularly around her boobs *giggle*. There's also the angle; it looks really cool, but it looks like she's supposed to be leaning back a little bit.
Random statement: She'd be a pretty interesting character to have in the next Girlchan in Paradise episode (if there's going to be one, since that'd be pretty far down the road anyways), what with her fighter-esque appearance.
Another random statement: It'd be funny if you replicated this, but made her expression more similar to shock, like she just got startled. "GWAH! Don't sneak up on me like that! I almost unleashed my secret technique on your ass!"

it really is, but it looks like her supporting leg is too much at a angle, and it looks like her extended arm has this bulge on it... maybe fix that.

The color is great, with the yellow mist commenting her jump suit. Ande the white light doing the same for her hair. Reminds me of Noodle from the Gorillaz when they did that game of death spoof.
It's difficult to explain what I think about it cause it's like an inspiration piece and at the same time very dream like. I like how soft you made it. Kinda reminds me of the SFAlpha pic of Ryu and Ken sparring

The whole base of it is pretty experimental - I can tell you spent some time on the realism effect, such as her hands. No real faults that I could point out, either.
Many things about your art are extremely unique, holding the almost-realistic and toonish vibes together, which I seriously admire about it. I'd have to agree with HH on the acid trip look, though.

This may sound a tad corny, but it's the honest truth. I look up to you as an artist, i love your style, your shading your concept of color. Even the things you deem as crappy (such as the early awesome series) has influenced me greatly in my art. Thanks a lot Egoraptor, you're honestly one of my favorites.

Reading some of the comments about your treatment of the left leg position, and your responses about the intent with the viewing angle, I'm pretty sure that you actually did approach most of the character's positioning and angle right... the torso could've been leaned back a little more which would've helped with suggesting that we're viewing it from below, though I really do think it's fine the way it is.
What would help the most with inferring the viewpoint would be the character's relation to other objects, especially if there were a background to contextualize things or other characters/objects in the background/foreground to relate the focus to.
It can be really hard to show certain things like that without context, even when you do manage to nail the parts you're after.
I think you did a good job though.

Also I noticed you have attempted to fix it. But I can't help but notice that the angle of her left leg is impossible. The torso and front leg suggest we can't see where her left leg starts, but then the left leg we can see her buttock, and it suggests the entire torso be at a different angle. I would suggest to just change the angle of the back leg, and make it so we can't see where it starts, because it's pretty much impossible to see all 3 of those things without one being covered up unless the body is facing directly at you.
Good drawing though.

I thought about this too, I think the idea was that it's from a tilted bottom down angle, which is why she's looking up a little (like she's actually looking forward) but I'm debating about whether or not I portrayed that well enough.

but somehow the pose doesn't feel right. It's like the position of the on coming kick and the right arm (anatomical position) aren't ergonomic towards the swift motion the body should be going in.
But if this is just her posing, then all of what I said is bunk and the only complaint would be the right forearm being a bit big.

Watching an artists work over the years is so interesting: it gradually becomes more complex and mature while maintaining its individuality. Same with yours. Moving on from cell shading to big and better things, but at the same time, I could look at the icon and tell you made this.

Proportionate, dynamic, and intruiging. However, it doesn't entirely look finished. The forearms look a bit big (it's otherwise proportionate >_>), it's a tad rough around the edges, in a literal sense, and... to be straightforward, it appears that someone took a leak in that flat plane dimension that you portrayed in your latest girlchan episode... Still I like it though, so don't get the wrong impression.
The jumpsuit reminds me of the main character in portal though, maybe it's just me...

Just trying to be constructive here, the right forearm (actually in the left on the picture) seems a bit big to me. Kinda a Popeye syndrome going on. The only reason it seems out of place really, is because the other one seems so much thinner in relation.
That may be exactly how you wanted it, though, and if thats the case dont mind me. I know you knew what you were uploading when you uploaded it. just pointing it out

This came off very nicely.
The gradient at the top of the page and her head blend just a little much making it kind of difficult to see the contour, but that could be a style thing. I would suggest that you get just a tad bit more contrast.
