Pencil sketch.
And to all of those kids who think this is a Modern Warfare 2 art copy. I made it years ago... long before the game was released. This piece has been featured on my site www.martinedlund.com since 2007.
As for the mirrored flag:

Breath Taking
I have seen alot of artwork portraying soldiers in my time in the Army. This is one of the best I have seen so far. The details are well done the coloring and shading are amazing.
And for the record, the flag is not backwards, it is that way on all military uniforms.

Awesome Job!
I love how you didn't mess up with the Flag Patch. Most people do that when they draw army stuff. I love all the detail you put into it and how you made it fade out at the edges, for some reason i like that.

Awesome!
Amazing artwork, and for those of you who are complaining about the backwards flag, it's supposed to be like that. It's backwards on uniforms. It symbolizes back when one soldier would carry a flag into battle, where it would be backwards from one side but correct from the other, giving the impression that every American soldier is carrying their own flag into battle. Look it up.
