Chaotic Space

Share

Called Chaotic Space, though I was tempted to go for more of a deep sea sort of name, it seems like a bit of both really. Half the size of the original. Originally created in Apophysis then altered slightly in photoshop, just a bit of level balance and cropping.

Very hauntingly Beautiful

Yup

That pretty much rocks. Incredible. You know it's good when you feel transported somewhere else by simply looking at a picture... fav'd

Thanks. :)

Good

Just like Coop I'm tempted to just write "Wow" in my review. But that could be considered abusive, right?

At first I thought that this picture looks afwully cold and that this couldn't be anywhere on earth, as I don't know of any place where it could ever be that cold.
Then a second thought struck my mind: Maybe this is underwater? Deep down in a sea (or an ocean). The colours fit very good to an underwater theme.
And reading your author's comment you where also tempted for a more "deep sea sort of name".

Well, looking at this picture I certainly feel as if I was deep down in an ocean. Maybe not twenty thousand leagues under the sea, but pretty close to 20.000. :D

Thank you.

I suppose when look at some of the phenomena in deep space, they can look surprisingly similar to some phenomena underwater too.

It's cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere..

Wow. 'Nuff said.

Ah, that's against the rules... better lead by example. Here we have some sort of space scene that looks as if it has been carved into a block of ice. The detail is so intricate and things like the moon or planet that just seems to sit there are the great additions that make this picture so much more.

I love the way that there appear to be faults in what I'm calling the ice, which produces phantom reflections and scratches across the surface. I love this piece and even though it's not drawn by you, per se, it really is a fantastic piece and worth every single second that you spent looking at the screen to get the vectors just right. A great scheme of colours and even the effect where it looks 'wet' on the surface, with that slick sheen, that words escape me for a way to praise this piece.

Thank you very much! :D

Whoa...

Purely extraordinary. Probably one of the best art pieces I've ever seen on the Art Portal.

The colours are perfect over here, and just with different shades of blue, you're able to create a masterpiece like this. Everything is not too bright but not too dark, and just perfect. In short, colour scheme is a win.

There's a variety of different things in this picture, and it really looks chaotic. My only complaint over here is that somewhere at the top, almost directly to the right of the voting buttons, there's something which looks a lot like a crack in glass, and it sort of disrupted the picture.

In general, this picture is great, and fun to look at. Keep up the awesome work. It's so strange that you're not scouted... I scouted you, and hopefully a lot of others will. I hope you get scouted, so then I can fave this work of art ^^.
10/10
