Over a month's work on this. I learned that I could use a smudge stick while still retaining the technique I use if the paper I use is semiglossy.

Purple ballpoint on 8.5"/11" silver stationary paper, and photoshop to compensate for the poor scan quality. The slight color variation is the result of acid and some smudging as I work, I think. The original may not last :(

Wow. I don't know what it is, but it feels like its moving. The purple on the right feels like it's in the background, and its moving to the left. Then when it turns pink it moves center into the foreground. Feels alive. It's crazy...Anyways, I really like it and glad it was featured.
