Chara Design - Midnight Dragon

Share

Characterdesign idea for a Midnight type dragon with human form. I rarely ever draw creature designs so I'm pretty proud on how that dragon-form turned out~

(Since the question arose a couple of times already: His one eye is closed because he has only one eye *points at scar* More details are in his RP-character sheet.)

I like it, wish it was bigger though coz the zoomed in version is a Lot better than the miniature /You can't really see any detail especially on the human version's face. But on the whole when zoomed it's very cool, can't really see any of his personality in it which is something i always like to see in character specific art.
The proportions of his arms are a bit off as is his stance (i mean like the way his legs are positioned or the way he holds himself) his knees are slightly bent but not really and it looks uncomfortable also it doesn't completely match the way his upper body is shown. The fact that the glittery black mist/smoke are the dragon's wings is very cool and a great idea, it's not immediately apparent however so i think it could be done slightly better.
The dragon's proportions are great especially for someone who doesn't usually draw creatures, the arms and claws are especially cool. I like his human form's shirt. That is a niice shirt.
