Looks like the armor is heavily inspired by Metroid, Mass Effect and Halo.

Hey guys! Hope you are having a wonderful time! I certainly am - check out my DA profile to find out why ^^ ( http://supimloryen.deviantart.com ) You wont regret it.
Since last time I took forever to upload, so this time I'm actually uploading two works at ones. WAAAAAAAAAAT?! Yep.
What can I say, I was busy with college and work that all there is too it, also I'm picky and every time I was about to upload it I would see a mistake so I ended up delaying it a lot. As many of you know I draw and paint these works as practice, for example, I never drew gear like this or painted metal before.
About the piece:
The Original Piece is 2234 x 3238 large.
(I'm actually going to have it up on the wall across me, so I can always see it while I draw)
As part of my concept I designed and painted Emilia (her)http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/drawingwitharthuz/the-future-starts-now
The piece was unfortunately declined due to the unnecessary fan-service and irrelevance of her dressing to my concept overall.
So after a long discussing I put myself to work and redesigned the whole character to look as you see it now in this post.
Her name is Emilia (based on the first BADASS female character I played as in Heroes of Might and Magic IV).
The whole painting process lasted: 13 hours

Close enough ^^ Actually only inspired from Metroid and Halo
I played metroid for years so I kinda memorised the full armour, i tried to make some similar gear but without actually coping anything and in fact if you compare the two you will see they look alike but there is nothing in common. I hate make an armour that people would actually want to wear and this seemed appropriate, every piece just had a function
