So so sorry for the lack of art this past week...

Last week I went to the doctors and they ended up giving me the flu shot since I hadn't received one in nearly 10 years. Now I remember why I stopped getting them. The very next day I woke up in severe pain all over and I couldn't get out of bed. I had a fever of 104 and I couldn't breathe. I was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance (my first ambulance ride!) and I stayed there for the whole day. I had a severe reaction to the flu shot and my immune system was not having it. For an entire week I was bedridden and ate nothing but crackers and drank orange juice. I'm still all jacked up on medication, but finally I'm feeling better.

Still a bit achey...but good lord I'm never getting the shot again. I'm still having a hard time after the loss of my cousin and friend that passed away in the same day...agh..but Ill be okay.
