At first, the face, by itself, SEEMED a little off. Then I realized I was comparing this TOO closely to the 3D model. And, on a second take, saw it as the D.M. artistic facial trademark "T area" of inner art eyes & a little, pointy nose. An artist's INTERPRETATION of another art piece. That should have been obvious, but it did throw me for a bit....

Lots of great NGs artists have their trademark art styles & themes, and yours is definitely "capturing cuteness & fun in a snapshot". And every now and then, with pieces like this that are both cute AND sexy. With both the obvious sexiness & the subtle but.... somehow "in-your-face"/Freudian pose (her "riding" a mushroom which looks like...... ^o^!)


Finally, this might be a small detail that, not too many are paying attention to ^_^. But it seems the backgrounds in both the sculpture and the art are, like the subjects, similar but re-interpreted at the same time (pink background - sculpture, pink CLOUDS of various hues - pic). That's a real nice touch to an already good display.
