Great painting

this is an excellent piece and you should be proud. That said there seems to be something off about the shadows, what direction is the light source coming from? it looks like there may be multiple lights. Feel free to ignore this because it could just be because its a photo of a painting being viewed on a computer. Anyway I agree with afiboy69 the colours and range of tones make this a really special piece and the frame really compliments the portrait, and it's now one of my favorites.

I have to start off by saying THIS IS SO FUCKING COOL! the way u handled the drapery is very nice, looks stiff at times but the shading and highlights help break that. background is lovely, nice range of tone. Also i must say great choice of framing. good work keep it up =)
