this is the cover image for my uni project. i am making a interactive short story for the iPad. the story is called the snake princess and it was thought up by myself and my girlfriend whom the character is loosely based on.

This is a great watercolor piece. I've tried working to make a skin color tone, but watercolors are sort of difficult in that regard. The character design is great! I can't wait to see what this turns out to be. I didn't know this was an interactive story. Oh, and a suggestion when using watercolors to emulate blood splatters: put the brush close to the paper and flick the brush with your finger (it makes these really cool linear splotches if you do it right).

Wow you have such a talent! :) I love the detail in her clothing and the skill in which you have painted her. My only suggestion is to edit out the marks in the negative space around her, That way the focus will be intensely on her. Is this watercolor?
