Yeah, man! That's awesomely epic!
Author's Response:
thanks mate.
I thought this was based off of the most dangerous game!!!
That was like a common book almost all schools around here HAD to read!
If you have honestly never looked into you should give it a read, wont take but an hour.
Also most of these bios and pictures remind me ALOT of the Venture Bros. episode were three assassins where hired to take out Brock Samson! (Possibly something you should look into and maybe make homage to the guy who loves comic books and wears a freaking elephants head on his chest? ^.^)
Author's Response:
unfortunately i have never read a novel all the way threw. (except for graphic novels i guess) and i don't intend to start its not that i can't read or because i have a poor education its just that reading is something i hate doing. i can understand why people do it but i just don't.
however if it was an audio book i would listen to it.
apart from that i would love to see the venture bros episode you speak of. i don't think i have seen that one. thanks for reviewing the drawing mate
The drawing is great and his bio really reminds me of a short story called the most dangerous game in which man lives on an island and enjoys hunting, but hunts humans because he thinks animals are to easy to hunt.
Author's Response:
wow that is a lot like the ehc actually i will have to check it out.
I love all of your artwork, and your characters.
Oh, and to SirCannabisClock: Reason and goodness are for sissies.
Author's Response:

i liked it a lot of work when into it he kinda also reminds me of one of the physcos in dead rising
Author's Response:
yea he does have a similar personality to them.
"I can't figure out why, but I do not like this"
now yes, the drawing is indeed cool and stylish, I refer to the character. I don't like him and yet its difficult to put a finger on exactly why.
Perhaps it is his seemingly "I kill because I feel like it" demeanor. He doesn't seem to kill out of hatred, anger, misanthropy or sheer sadistic glee; I get the idea he does it to simply add to the story of this EHC. Furthermore: realistically speaking, how does he own an entire island when not only the entire world has been colonized and discovered by civilization(correct me if this story takes place in a 1600s era), but also the fact that somehow he's a multimillionaire who can afford to run the worlds largest hunting zoo in a private island. The multimillionaire thing also seems to conflict my logic, being that if he's a psychopath that kills children he probably doesn't contain the sanity in his own head to put together a secret hunting island.
I noticed that perhaps you tried to explain that by giving a sense that he has god-like power: well ok, that could esentially explain the island thing(maybe its in another dimension or something, or perhaps its invisible to anyone unapproved by him), but that leaves a major hole in the fact as why he bothers recruiting all these other people to help him. If he's a god, chances are he's going to have a god-complex; befriending people only to trick, crush and or kill them in his sadistic god-like glee. Besides, having an evil war god come down from earth and assume the role of an all powerful invincible man seems drone, overdone, and even cliche. Well one more thing, and I'm just gonna toss it out there, from his picture I get absolutely zero mental image of a god like figure. He seems like a deranged crocodile dundee, rather than a god of hunting. Let's say he was indeed a god of hunting, I'd imagine him to be barbaric looking, a loincloth, a rough animal skin mantle, maybe some face paint. What would be even cooler, and less cliche for that matter, would be to combine the Australian look with the barbarity look: lets say, keeping the original outfit but it's made out of stitched together animal skins, I could list more stuff but that kind of thing should be up to you.
Furthermore: I was reading up on the female character, and I stumbled across "She is the only woman he didn't kill after intercourse." This bothers me: why? Well, why is the question I ask you, along with the other Ws. Why does he do that? Why didn't he kill her? Why is that detail important for me to know if the general gist of his personality if "I kill everything"?
Why does he do it? As horrible as it sounds, if he was a rapist-murderer it would make sense(because he does it out of some sort of hatred, or sick glee.) However, the general gist I got was that he kills his romantic partners. Why would he do that? It sounds silly to punish someone for giving you what you want, no? It doesn't make sense.
Now what would make sense if if she was the only woman "to survive" his attack on her(earning his respect or whatever.)
But yeah, overall I simply don't like this character. However, that doesn't mean everyone else will think like me. Personally I could rave on and on but let me just finish with this: I think a great touch for an incredibly evil character is to give him or her a faint spark of good and or reason.
Author's Response:
again i have to say that you clearly do not get this at all.
you are probably one of those people who wants to watch realistic films and questions plot holes.
you are reading way to deep into things!! its a comedy.
let me explain jim a little more for you anyway:
jim is a man but after a mysterious event in his past when he was a boy he soon became consumed by bloodlust.
jim can control himself however, its not like he is just a crazy mad man. he has devoted his life to becoming a hunting god.
for unexplainable reasons he was able to take control of an island and turn it into the ultimate hunting lodge.
(by the way i am aware the world has been fully explored in mordern day but does that really mean that all story from now on can't be about hidden islands that know one knew about. honestly if that was the case some of the best films wouldn't be made)
the reason he recruits members to the island is because he likes to share his creation with the finest hunters in the world.
as for dixie crocket he reason why she was not killed is because jim has a disturbed version of love at first sight.
jim treats most women men and animals like his targets.
if they are not worthy then they have no real reason to live but that doesn't mean he kills them all, its only when they personally do something to jim that gives him reason to kill that he does ... with some exceptions.
i would tell you the main reason as to why jim is a killing machine
but revealing that mystery would ruin the story
so please don't take the EHC seriously it is just a comic series of adventures.
you should keep your mind open to even the strangest of stories.
and to be honest it probably isn't your type humour.
i hope this clears up your questions alittle
