I agree with that. I chose to do it all on a single layer, rather than use multiple layers like a smart person. I wanted to put myself in a position as if I was actually painting on a canvas rather than doing it digitally. This proved to be rather difficult though, and so certain parts of it came out better than others. This is all so I can improve though, so hopefully future scenes will hold less mistakes.
