Joust Knight - 'New Resolution' Entry

Share

My submission to the 'New Resolution' competition to re-create an ol' skool sprite in a new, high-resolution.

I chose the 1982 classic "Joust" by Williams Electronics because that sh*t is awesome.

Check out my progress/process over here:

edit: Oops! The glare on the ostrich's eye got moved up by accident; fixed that real quick!

Wow this is awesome I love the style it is amazing. Lol I chose Joust as well but it didn't come out anything near as awesome as this I love it. Great job and good luck.

Great detail used to play this game a lot as a kid, really good drawing

Wow, love your style. I was so inspired by this, I felt I had to inter the challenge too. (It's uploaded, but in the beginner category and unscouted, so you have to go to my profile, if you want to see what you inspired.)
And again, I love this art. Hope you win

seems like everyone is saying the same thing, and I agree that you have an excellent art style

davetroyer responds:

Thanks! I'm glad that you and other people are liking it.

wow, that's really cool, I love your art style and the dullard expression on the birds face made me laugh.
