Wow dude. That's actually pretty insulting.

I know this is going to be rude, but maybe I don't really care about winning the competition?
I'm already a working, professional artist and just enjoy working on something aside from my daily work and wanted to do something for fun.

And maybe someone like you, whose a little more amateur in my opinion, could use a little more tact with their critiques by maybe saying why you feel it should be in the beginner category? Is it because my line work is a little rough for this piece? Because its cleaner than your work I've seen. Is it because of my more rushed style with this one? If you look at some of my other work, you can see this is not my best work; I know that I can do better, but I liked it well enough and others seem to like it, too. Maybe you can say why you think that instead of a making a blanket statement about a standard that you yourself can't meet?

I mean, I'm all for some critique, but all your saying is "I know its rude, but your not very good" and you actually felt that comment deserved to be said.

So what is it man? What about my work strikes you as beginner?

Thanks! There's tons of great artists that participate in Jazza's challenges and I mostly just use them as a guided distraction from my daily grind art, but it means a lot to hear people enjoying my work.
