Creepy!
Cool design, he looks like quite the hungry fellow. The painting itself is well done, as is all your work.
I think a little more time spent on the the monster's flesh would have really paid off, though. Right now, the flesh doesn't look different enough from the ground to really feel like flesh.
Also, the greenish texture at the top of the painting makes the monster looks like he's standing against a wall. If you get rid of that and maybe subtly indicate some environment in the background instead, it'll give the piece a lot more depth.
