That separated, segmented spine looks painful. What a cool design! And judging from the human silhouette this thing is close to 8 feet tall!
You managed to fit a ton of detail into this. I know too many artists (myself included) who would have drawn enough to get the basic idea across and phoned it in on the rest. Nice job.
