40 Min - Horned Owl

Probably shouldn't be posting dailies on here; but I think out of this week's run, this one turned out the best. The rest of the owls were pretty meh, you can see them on my deviantART right here:

I think it really depends on the subject's complexity. If it's a simple shape and easy to visualize, there's more time to render. But the more complicated, the less I can manage in a hour. This little guy was pretty simple. It's also backgroundless, so that saves a good 15 minutes :>
