DEFINITELY one of your strongest pieces, IF NOT, your very best one. The lighting and blues you used really do make it look like this environment is extremely cold and that someone (like your figure) would have to be all bundled up in robes like that. The dark blood color looks really striking against the snow and leaves ya wondering what happened here. I love the mystery you created here, there's definitely a story told in this painting, SO you 100% succeeded in that even though it's all mysterious and you might not know WHAT exactly the story is but it leaves you wanting more which is a great thing to accomplish in a painting in my opinion:) I also love how ominous and dark the trees int he background look as compared to the lighter spots in the snow that are illuminated by light, seems like the forest behind the figure is so dense and dark that light can't even penetrate in there, it's SPOOKY. I just love it all around, creates a lot of different moods and feelings and everywhere you look I find something interesting to look at. Excellent job :)

dude this is nICE.

ice.. because... cold and snow. hahayeahhighfive.

This is amazing, the colors blend and contrast so nicely. I think this is one of the best pieces of art I have seen in years. I can't wait to see what you do next.

For starters your composition is great; the way the light comes through the trees kinda hazy is very nice. Second, the way you've obscured the trunks of the trees and foliage sells it. I dig the texture of the snow (nice shadows) and the plants as well. Anyway, it all frames your character well and makes him pop out. Really nice work :D

Its really solid overall, like game concept art quality. The only suggestion I have is maybe make the back lighting on the guy and his face a touch brighter, its hard to tell he's facing the viewer zoomed out.
