mmm

I suppose not everybody here knows about Z-Brush.
With that program you can do this (and much better than this) in less than 40seconds.

DaPigMask responds:

If you think that you're so good with zbrush, why don't you make a 3d model of your deformed penis in less thatn 3 seconds ?.

your review is like a trollview...man, I'm just learning

Well done.

I can see some time was certainly spent on this. Even though symmetry was used for the hair on the back making the strands curve away from the middle it still looks good. In my opinion the lines on his neck make him appear older and/or angry as the right eyebrow would also imply. I'm not sure if its something you were trying to do or not but it looks like he has some nose hair growing into his beard. It doesn't look bad, just a little observation. the string/cord to his monocle seems to twist unnaturally but for a cartoon character it works.
@InvasiveInsomniac It is the standard red clay material used in zBrush that gives that color. Then the other tools have a slightly darker tone which is also standard. But yes it does improve the overall appearance of the head.
Overall very nice detail for a work in progress. I would like to see the final bust with textures applied if you continue work on it.

Caught My Eye...

This piece of artwork was the first thing that caught my eye... I don't know why, but I love it. I think it could be the texture you've used, that's made it look very similar to clay or chocolate... and the lighting is excellent. I'm also going with Dioccino's evaluation on the fact his neck doesnt need the muscle as much... he's actually done a perfect job of analysing it. Scrawny with an adam's apple, and it'll be perfect. :) Anyhoo, I love it. :)

You must enter a summary for your review.

I'm gonna forgo the British imitation since the last two posts already have done that :)

I like the style of it, very prominent features and well done for a cartoon character. Although I like the features of his face, his uncovered eyebrow makes it look like he's angry which gives him more of a sinister, villain persona than a gentleman one. I'm not sure his neck needs so much muscle either (it also aids the sinister look), I would just make the neck a lil more scrawny and add an adams apple. Otherwise it's nice work!
