It's Mewtwo again! This is just me having fun in ZBrush 3.0. Pretty much just sat down and started messing around. ZBrush is a pretty powerful tool, and this is just scratching the surface - it's really little more than a doodle.
This is a CG bust of my earlier sketch.

They don't look as cute when they look real

That's really cool but it's true: add realism and the cute factor kinda goes away ^^;

Really cool though o.o

ZBrush

never heard of the program, i'll have to check it out, and as for this i thought it was a bust scale model of clay or something rather, not too sure what ZBrush makes someone capable of, but still very awesome. MewTwo looks very awesome in RL :)

CrimsonGear responds:

ZBrush is a whole lot of fun to mess around in. You can download the 30 day trial from their website (it's not very big, either). It's a lot like clay modeling, where you build up and break down the subject like you're adding or removing clay. This particular model started out as a ball, and I just built it up. It's really easy to do, and as I said, this picture is just scratching the surface of what ZBrush is capable of. I totally recommend trying it out if you have a moderate to high-end computer.

this looks really cool

but is that a penis attached to the back of his head? lol jk

CrimsonGear responds:

Well, thanks a lot, man. Now I'm going to have that horribly disturbing image floating around in my head every time I look at this picture.

Why... WHY did you have to say that!? :P

Thank you Mike!

You have opened my eyes to this very powerful tool!

Zbrush is amazing!

I hope you complete the figure and post pictures in the near future!
Very well done!
