Layers

This was another abstract rendition I did with a photo I took of a burnt tree trunk. I threw in a little sharpie for fun because I had the red colour. I thought it would look good to layer the drawing, to have the bark peeling away, and the mechanical aspects underneath the natural ones.

whatever, in the end its really just some random designs

The many feelings of a tree

One thing I really like are the designs you have from behind the leaves. The red that is added makes me feel for the tree that was harmed. I really like it, great piece.

amazing...

you took a picture of something fairly simple, but you transformed it in a way that the original picture can barely be recognized!!! all the deatil is amazing... keep up the wesome work!!!

yeah..... it does!
I've done this drawing countless times and it's always great to find a new way to do it. It's also how I develop new styles and ways to draw things. usually none of them have to do with reality. Reality is boring :P
