Knots

Heres a rendition of one of my earlier drawings. I decided to scan it and add a little colour just to get out of the black and white routine :P theres nothing new to the drawing (like a little depth) but I'm happy with the result. Enjoy!

Great work

The ''ribbony'' pattern used throughout this piece really highlights the fact that it is not ''a tree and a piece of earth'', but rather a whole body, one leading of flowing into the other, yet part of one big essence.

its funny that you mention variety because even though I'm using a different medium the thick lines and motifs are mostly the same. The colour is really the only feature that sets it apart. anyway thanks for the review!

Wow

Really good piece. I've never seen this in B&W but I love the color. What really draws my eye are the leaves. There is something near by where I am located that uses this technique or feel in a brochure and 've seen it elsewhere but the thoughts that conjure up in my head from the color and piece makes this much more great. Great job!

thanks. my only complaint (to myself I guess) is how insubstantial the background is. It does seem like this piece needs some negative space, but the contrast between the sky and earth are a little too exaggerated.
