Good Job

I appreciate the loose and illustrative concept you have going on this piece. The variety of mark-making techniques you used is a great component to the composition and helps add to the sense of texture and earthly values you wanted to display. I would have liked to have seen brighter values in this piece, specifically the swamp fairy in the center with a lighter, brighter muddy yellow. I also noticed that on the swamp fairy near in the lower left has almost no shadows displayed on their face, even when wearing a large hat. I would, in the future, plot out your light source on all characters more so than you have now so you don't go back and forth with low lighting to high lighting.

The painting style is reminiscent of John Bauer, mixed with a little bit of ZdzisÅ'aw BeksiÅ"ski. This is a very good thing.
