Very impressive. You've dealt very well with the shadows, and the hair is pretty realistic.
This is a very good portrait. No, actually, it's excellent.
Why 9 then?
Well, because it is a portrait. That means it doesn't take too much creativity, and though you technical performance deserves a standing ovation, I also take the "imagination and originality" into an account before giving out a 10.
