Turtle Toast

This turtle is made from a piece of stale bread. I burnt it with rubbing alcohol and a lighter, carved in the design and painted it with food coloring. Then added bubbles and highlights with salt.

I thought this was one of the best entries for that contest,and I still think you did a spectacular job taking a humble piece of stale bread and turning it into a piece of art.

Thanks! Yeah this piece is (almost) completely edible, if you can get past the hard as rock bread, completly burnt bits and slight hint of alcohol...but at least it's salted well.
