Cool story and painting! Nice rendering skills. Would have been awesomer (lol) if you drew in a demon lurking in the background. The statues are creepy tho so they will do. Great job!

The hairy professor who loves to draw captures the powers of the creature he defeats with the pages of his enchanted sketch book. At the center of the labyrinth the professor and his assistant find a demonic alter. He calls upon the phoenix flame to defeat the demons lurking in the shadows.

Thanks and I agree. I was going to make a demon looming behind the alter but was rushing to finish by the deadline so I ended up scrapping it...I really need to stop doing these challenges at the last minute...
The lighting is really good on piece, I really like it!
