Firstly, this was drawn entirely in Autodesk Sketchbook (Also my first time ever using this program). I do enjoy it - It feels like I'm using traditional tools, but with the added benefit it being digital (layers, grids, UNDO...).

This is Skirna, she is essentially my idea of a perfect pet (theme of what I drew this for). She is small enough to be able to curl up and sleep on your lap. ^^

I would totally have this as a pet!

The detail on this is beautiful as always and the anatomy is spot-on. I also love how the features on the tail and those big eyes stand out against the background. While I would say the background could perhaps use some more detail, I'd also say that could be counter-productive since more background detail may distract from the character design, so that was pointless of me bringing up XD Having said that, I love how that treestump acts as a podium for your character, she definitely deserves to be the centre of attention.

Anyway, great job as usual. Also, I will be back on DA soon, just taking a break for now.

Tektyx responds:

I'm way too happy to hear you say the anatomy is good! YES! I spent days plotting the structure to the dot. And while the economy background was intended, I could have added a little more shapes to the hills in the back but alas, I was simply too excited to post it to go the extra step. It was a labor of love to add the trees that are there already. :P

And no worries about DA, sometimes it's nice to hang out with Newgrounders. XD

Very nicely done.

Tektyx responds:

Thank you. ^^
