I think it's a nice design. But the use of that molecular graphic on the torso turned this into something tacky. Removing it would look more appealing. Adding a shadow to the character would also make it pop

While the real Zolpidem is under the guise of Nobelium's teddy bear, anyone who falls under its hypnotic spell is subject to horrific nightmares where they encounter this monstrous version of the mutant compound. Zolpidem hides in the darkest corners of its victim's subconscious, and when the time is right, it strikes with sharp claws and even sharper teeth, among many other abilities that allow it to change the dreamscape to its advantage!

I'll agree with you about the shadow, but I make it a rule that every element and compound must have their symbol/atomic number/graphic incorporated into their design in some way. Compounds have their molecular graphics engraved on their bodies like scars!
