This here is the star of Alex Ze Pirate, a graphic novel from Andrew Dobson (check it out on Amazon). It was drawn for the fan-art section of the book, but I sadly got it done a day late to actually make it in time. Oh well, I did sort of still make it in the book (one of the quotes on the back cover is from me). The composition of this image greatly reminds of the song "You've Got the Touch!" (the original, not the nasty remake); also, I am quite proud of the reflection effect on the sword.
