Game concept art for Zimbo's Revenge! an aerial combat game.
The project is still in development, and painting is meant for cover/inspiration.
The plane itself is a cross between a P51 and a Mig. A bit unconventional, but it still has some design issues that will most likely be changed.
Zimbo is sitting in an open cockpit, which is intentional. I was going for an old fashioned bi-plane/open look. This is part of the cartoon aspects in the game art.
