Well this is taking fractals to another level..
you see.. creating patterns and stuff in Aphopysis while challenging to make something .. concrete.. is still simple in comparison to having an idea and making it.
I decided I wanted to make a cherry in Apophysis - and so I did - and exported it as a transparent png. Then I took that cherry and converted it to a julia design - and tweaked and whatnot to get it to look how I wanted. I then pue 3 cherries in the middle and 3 cherries I nestled into the outstretched "palms" of the circle pattern I made, intentionally for this purpose.
then I added a larger fadeout in the bg for that whole filled out look :)
the result is an interesting fusion of mathematical radial symmetry combined with some very concrete objects made in the same program - aided with photoshop :)
I tried the stars again this time but it just didn't look right this time.
enjoy!
Mediums: Apophysis, Photoshop 7.0

wow
yes i instantly thought what you said in your description, it's a concrete object delivered through a interesting fractal art.
Like the colors, it also reminds of me of an interactive platform in FFX!
actually now that you mention it is sort of does.. cool!
thanks for the review!
