this is the first COTM i have entered its actually the first drawing challenge in general ive entered! and the first time ill be showing my drawings publicly, hope i do well :) and good luck to everyone.

there are 7 circles of hell each with a lord who rules supreme they each have a preferred method of obtaining souls, the longer a tainted soul remains in a living body before its acquired by a lord of hell the more potent it is and the more influence a lord can garner, each lord uses different tactics for obtaining souls from corrupting the innocent and waiting for their eventual death, powerful and vibrant souls but slow dividends, to wheeling and dealing at crossroads for souls in exchange for power and fortune. but the lord of the 5th circle employs a more brutish manner in retrieving his souls, the use of his pet the grimataur a great beast! able to seemingly devour the life essence of his victims, these souls while not as potent in quality more then make up for it in extreme quantity, the grimataur lives in the shadows of towns and cities when it is called upon by its master it steals up the innocent and guilty alike devouring souls en mass some nights the grimataur will travel great distances to new cities keeping the massacre going while keeping a few victims for energy during the commute.

Wow! How long did this take? It has a lot of detail

chiwall responds:

haha yeah the hardest part about the detail was that i had never drawn scales before so it took a loooong time to start getting it good enough :) so probably about 15-20 hours but alot of that was frustration in the scales.
