Like Slinkie said I can tell you put effort into this. The first thing I would suggest is don't try and rely on line, but instead find the form and shapes in the faces your are drawing. Keep you pencil very very light and sketchy; don't commit to any line until you know you have found it. Also don't try and draw just what you see but also what you know, observe the eyes, are they perfect tear drop shapes or are they more irregular than that? Look to observe, to study, and then when know then you draw it. It may sound like it takes a long time but it really doesn't. Lastly your shading, shadows have form and shape they are also not soft on all sides. Shadows can and often do have hard edges but mixed with soft edges. Hope that helps.

i can tell you put effort into this, but it just didnt come out right. i can tell you are probably somewhat of a beginner, but hell i am too. my main problem are just the simple things, like abnormally large upper teeth, the lines on your shirt, the disproportional neck, and some "crunchy" lines. its not terrible or anything, but you need some work.

I kinda tried to make them cartoonie by enlarging some features, you know as those bubble head drawings you see in some places, I guess I didn´t do it that well because it looks more like I really tried to do it as realistic as possible. anyway thanks for the comment ill upload another portrait I did so you can see the difference.
