This has a LOT of potential. I like it. Perhaps this draped scenery would work best on a more vast scale...let's say this cloth covering more objects, or an environment with this guy at the forefront. This would make your piece more malleable in which you can push to any length of extremity. So much you can do and say with a cloth draping multiple objects; it gives rise to ambiguity and the uncanny. That's what I feel when I see these cloths tensed and twisted. You should create a series in which you play around with this tension idea a little bit more. Take it to the next level. Explore, for I'm excited for what you may bring next :D

OMG it,s just so awesome...!!!

I'm no artist I've only done small bits of work that I have never shown anyone so i'm not good at describing how a art piece makes me feel but i will try. When I look at this it conveys a powerful feeling of claustrophobia because of how closely the material hugs the person under it. It also gives a feeling of desperate anger as he tears through it with his fist to escape. All in all it a great piece and deserves its front page. The lines are great and really add to how tight it is around the person. And the shading around the head and under fist are fantastic. I can't wait to see more of your work so keep it up!!

I like to think pieces like this take creativity to another level because they employ the abstract, not only the fictional. You can FEEL the tension in the amount of effort he's putting in to escape. This is maybe not the most beautiful in terms of presentation, but the content carries the slack here. The movement in the lines all accentuate the focal point nicely as well. You got my 5.

Thanks a lot man! I know its not very clean, I'm always trying to work on the "feeling" of the image that I often neglect to polish the image. Sometimes that rawness works in my favor, other times not so much. I'm glad you like it though!

I dig it.

ChillyCheese responds:

That's whats up.
