This is funny. Mean and vicious but funny. Wish there was more put into it but oh well. Not bad for kicking one of my favorite childhood books when it's down in the crotch. Still nice and funny regardless.

Made me giggle inside. My mom used to read that book to me almost every night when I was a kid, it was indeed a good book, but your transcription of it is hillarious. So what does this tree do, beat the kid if he dares take the apples? or try to cut him? haha, I also love that part of the mystery to this peice. Good work :).
