This is my submission for the Draw With Jazza challenge of the month. Its not perfect or super detailed because I'm not a really fast drawer yet. But the general feeling that I wanted to draw is there. So here comes the story:
I chose to draw Scrooge, but not in the traditional way. I pictured him as a man without fear and a cold heart. Instead of fearing the ghosts of Christmas he chose to enslave them instead. We see Ebenezer on his `throne`, made of his own coffin. Surrounded by the three ghosts of Christmas he feels quite comfortable. The chains worn by the ghost of Jacob Marley are mounted on the wall as a trophy.
Overall I wanted to go for a rather dark and sinister feel to the drawing. And a little twist to the story of Ebenezer Scrooge. Will he ever get a change of heart or stay a Christmas villain forever? Who knows...
