My first original character in a while :P. No fan world. No fan characters.

Sol Standaloft, perhaps a pending last name, with the power of the sun. In a world where the Tunguska event unleashed a new form of matter, unlocking a new type of energy within lifeforms on Earth, dubbing it as Extra Dimensional Electromagnetic Natural (EDEN) energy...Maybe a working name too...

But this guy's EDEN is energy is based on the Sun, meaning his core is actually a nuclear fusion type of energy. He can add power and heat to his attacks, gains strength from direct sunlight, and has excellent reflexes and perception due to training, the EDEN energy, and his phenomenal sense of electromagnetic forces around him (even the slight ones given off by humans).

Now that arm looking thing? That's his Coronal Arm. The Sun has a great magnetic field that keeps the solar system within its gravity. This concept is represented by the hand. The Sun also has "coronal loops" that come from extreme magnetic activity and can sometimes launch solar flares or coronal mass ejections. Sol's Coronal Arm is like his own coronal loop. He can use it to grab or hit enemies from a distance, and can also act as a shield, so this will allow for some stylish combos if I can ever to get animating it :D
