Awesome! This reminds me of... some post-apocalyptic comic...hmm, just can't recall the... ah, Gone with the Blastwave! Wonder if the similarities are coincidental or if it really is inspired by that work? The similarities lie both in character representation, in tone of color and the overall atmosphere. it's a post-apocalyptical comedy too, so it almost feels as if this could be a tribute to it. Great work on details, on fictional realism and on that one detail that transforms into something more than just a well-drawn painting. Keep it going!

As for the artwork, it's pretty good, not sure if it's hand painted though.
Well all done on the tablet, i used only 2 textures in the end over the whole picture.
