EDIT: WOW, frontpaged!!! Thanks a lot for that :D:D

Promotional image for the upcoming prog-metal Lovecraftian album Oath of Dagon, by Brett Miller! You can hear the first 3 songs demos here: http://brettmillermusic.net

It's actually a full collaborative project: each song will have it's corresponding illustration in this style, and we'll release a small book containing all of them along with the 10 track album.

Hope you like it!

Gorgeous work!
Your chaotic and confusing linework (in a good way) fits the theme perfectly.

This is what I've needed in my life for a while, the music, the art, the tentacles dripping from my ear holes to strangle me. It's all there.

Clever use of the border with the way you make certain elements overlap it.

Thanks! Added that detail just before sending the final image, and I think it really worked!

"Bleak, drear, grim, nothing but a wonderful sin.
I looked away, I saw the day; waning to a rim.
As I threw the drafts of speculations to the nearest bin.
Night is here, and so clear, was the face of might.
I need not explanation, for now I know that light
will not suffice to shed itself upon such height.
Quoth he: Wilt thou follow me? And so it was done;
for now, although I lost the sun, I must be gone.
And red was his ink, to sign with it the Oath of Dagon."

I wrote these humble verses, promptly, in admiration for your astonishing.
Ugh, how scarce is your type of illustrations nowadays?!
I also hope that you would achieve great with your upcoming album, best of wishes.

Wow man, thanks a lot for that great poem. Truly, don't know what to say. Just, thank you, and know that it's truly appreciated.

It is the style of illustration I enjoy watching the most, and happily, it is also the type of illustration I enjoy making the most. I struggled a lot to realize this, so I'm really happy knowing people enjoy the results!
